Pew Bows

Picture
My Mom and my photographer made these - there are 36 total, one for each pew on either side.  The pine cone theme is also being used as part the table centerpieces, and to make them "snow" covered we rolled them in joint compound to flock.  Using the spray snow stuff caused the pine cones to close up and look like inappropriate objects - lol.  We made 300 pinecones in about 2 hours - the pinccones were free as my photographer picked them up outside of her home.  The pew bow is being held up against the fridge, but they'll be hanging on clips.

Unity Candle

Picture
This is my second unity candle that I made - thanks to Kat112!  Our tapers are going to be our baptismal candles, and our holders are individual crystal holders - matching tapers and then a large base for the unity candle.  Total cost : about $6 (50% candle at Michaels and left over ribbon from another project, $.59  vellum, and $2 for the silver trim).

Flowers

Picture
Another DIY by Mom and my photographer.  These are real touch silk florals, which actually feel real.  I really got lucky with the roses as I found some on clearance at Pat Catans for $1 (they are about $6-12 apiece online) and I bought 5 dozen.  lol.  These are all of the bouts and corsages.  The bouquets (mine, 3 bm, 1 toss, and 2 for MOB and MOG) are being made using the roses and other real touch silks by the florist.  These turned out amazing!!!  The different wearers are all different but it's hard to tell in the photo.

Inspiration for my bouquet - please note my actual flowers are ALL artifical.  We finished them/got them done in October.  I get to keep my flowers forever!
